You and God know exactly what that ‘It” is. What I believe the Lord is trying to show you as you read this post right now, is that as a Christian woman, wife, mother or friend in this world, you don’t have to face life’s tests and trials, challenges, or big moments alone. He is with you. So don’t go it alone.

Listen. When Jesus left this earth, He left us a Helper. As Christians, we know that Helper is the Holy Spirit. Please don’t try to do life without Him, sis. He’s your Helper, your Comforter, and your Guide. He really does live inside of you and He’s waiting, right here and right now…to help you. You’re not alone.

So the next time Satan tries to whisper, “You’re all alone in this.” Whisper back to him, “No, I’m not! God is with me and He’s helping me through the power of His Holy Spirit. And I will get through this. He will lead and guide me and show me what to do.” You can say this with complete confidence, boldness, and authority, because it’s true.

Believe and own that truth. Believe that the answers you receive are coming straight from heaven and they’re already pre-screened to work out for the best when it’s all said and done (even if you don’t think so). Jesus tells us in John 16:13, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.”

He will tell you whatever He receives from Jesus. Again, you are not alone. God cares for you (even if it seems like He doesn’t sometimes). Don’t believe the enemy’s lies or what others tell you. Instead, believe God’s truth no matter what you feel, think, or hear.

Another way that God helps us is through people. He sends people who truly love us to pray for us and with us. Furthermore, He sends people to encourage us, extend a listening ear, or a shoulder to cry on. He also sends people to lend a helping hand.

Just recently, the Lord gave me a fresh real-life example of this very thing (the helping hand part). On a lighter note (but very real), my daughter had a school project. Well, she didn’t tell me anything about it. She actually did it by herself.

Lo and behold, she brought it to school (a hot mess…seriously) and her teacher humbly told her, “Cali, do it over and bring it back to school Friday.”

Thank God for grace and mercy for my poor child! She’s such a gentle girl. But I told her, “Cali, you did this one by yourself. Your mama was right here, and you didn’t ask for help.” Lesson time! The Holy Spirit quickly reminded me that that’s exactly how we do Him when we try to do things without His help.

He’s right there waiting to help us. Yet, we think we got it, and we go it alone. But then what happens? Catastrophe, let downs, disappointments, frustration, anger, depression, do-overs (thank God again for grace and mercy).

The whole point of this is this. We have to stop to pray and ask for help. For instance, if you need wisdom or discernment in a certain situation you’re facing, pray and ask. If you need comfort, strength, healing, or a peace of mind, pray and ask. If you need help with your kids, marriage, or family, pray and ask.

If you need help with an upcoming test, pray and ask. If you need help making a big decision or making a major purchase, pray and ask. If you need help with a work or ministry project, pray and ask. If you need supernatural deliverance for you or someone you know, pray and ask. The Holy Spirit, your Helper, is right there to help you. Just pray and ask, my sister.

Guess what? The world doesn’t have this kind of guidance or help. They’re looking for peace, comfort, direction, and love in all the wrong places. Yet, as Christians, we have supernatural help.

So let’s count it a privilege to have such wisdom and aid from upon high and within. Jesus said, “I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him or knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14:16-17)

You know Him sis. He’s with you and in you. Listen for His small, quiet voice, and rest in His wisdom, comfort, and peace. He’s got you all covered. Don’t try to do it alone. You have Help. Trust and rely on the Holy Spirit…today.

*Oh, and I almost forgot! After my daughter got the help, from the helping hands of her mother (glory to God), who prayed and relied on the Holy Spirit to help us, Cali said, “This looks so much better than what I did before.” We’re still awaiting the grade. But...we humbly asked for help. 😉

Remember, Jesus is coming back soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s be ready from the Inside Out!
