When you’re dealing with difficult situations or people, you have to learn to let go and let God. He can fight better. In the Old Testament, many of the victories that were won was because God stepped in supernaturally to fight for them. In this modern day world that we live in, and as Christian women, we are going to have to learn to get into the position of humility and allow the Lord to fight the battles for us.

If you look back at the story of Gideon, God only used 300 men to fight thousands of the enemy soldiers. In the end, the Lord gave Gideon’s army the victory. In the story of Joshua, they marched around Jericho seven times, blew the trumpets, and the walls fell down! They conquered the land and received their inheritance! VICTORY! These are only two great examples of the power of God when you let Him supernaturally fight for you.

I need to say here that in every battle, you will still have to get dressed and be ready for the fight. Soldiers didn’t go unprepared, undressed, and in civilian clothes. No! They had on their full armor as Ephesians 6:13-17 states (Read it). So you too will need to get dressed. The Bible clearly instructs us to “…Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:10 - NLT)

The enemy is real. Remember, he goes around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. So be on guard, sober, and alert. Also, know that people are NOT your enemy. When you start looking at people or getting upset or offended with others, watch out! It’s a set-up. A disguise. A masquerade. Try to keep in mind what Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly realms.” (NLT) With this in mind, keep your eyes on Jesus…not on people. Don’t get trapped there.

Personally, I can recall so vividly a time when I just couldn’t fight one particular battle in my life. Seriously! I was exhausted trying to fight it. I was worn out in my mind. My body was weak. I was just an emotional wreck. Not only that, but it was hard to pray. Actually, I was so out of it for this battle that I didn’t even have the desire to fast about it. And I was overwhelmed with paralyzing fear.

That’s when a fellow sister in Christ called me and said, “The Lord told me to call you.” She went on to say in so many words, “Give it over to Him. You don’t have to fight it. Let God fight this battle for you.” I had NEVER been in a position like that before in my life. I’ve pretty much been the one to find a way to make things work or figure it out or be strong in the Lord myself and get through it. But not this particular time! This trial was too heavy for me to carry or fight PERIOD. So I turned it over to God and I said wholeheartedly, “Lord, I need You to fight this one for me. I can’t do it.” And I lifted it up to Him.

I’ll tell you sis…the Lord DID IT!!! As I positioned myself to trust Him, He got the victory for me! Hallelujah!!!! I was so amazed at what God had done. He worked that thing out so smoothly. It really blew my mind. He’s an AWESOME Warrior!

I say all of this to say, “Let God fight your battle.” Again, you will still need to put on your full armor. Always be dressed for the spiritual warfare that will come your way. And sometimes, you will need to fast and pray to overcome some battles in your life. I am in no way saying, don’t do those things when times get tough. But what I am saying, is when you have done everything you know to do, let go and let God. Be strong and courageous, and let Him fight the battle for you so you can WIN! Amen!

Remember, Jesus is coming back soon. And those who endure unto the end, shall be saved. Let’s be ready from the Inside Out.
