I asked the Lord, “What should I write this week?” And He showed me ever so clearly…“Give them a word of encouragement.” Right after He answered, I looked down into my Bible and I saw the words from Acts 13:15, “Brothers, if you have a word of encouragement for us, come and give it to us!” CONFIRMATION! Don’t you love it when God does that! I often say, “He knows exactly what we need when we need it.” So here goes sis…the word of encouragement today is “Remain faithful.”

In our Christian walk sometimes, we can become weighed down with a lot of things. And when this happens, you have to pull from a strength that is soooo beyond you! We live in a very fast-paced society today where everyone is into something. BUT as Christians, no matter the demands, tests, trials, or trends, we have to hold on and stay faithful through it all.

No matter where you are today, know that God is here for you. Trust Him for every step of your life from this day forward. No turning back, because you’ve got to complete what you’ve been put on this earth to do. And if you need supernatural strength to do whatever He’s entrusted to you, than depend on God’s word that tells you, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) Memorize it, frame it, speak it…whatever you got to do to know that God is your true source of strength, just do it! Personally, this Scripture has helped me many days.

And know that as you pray and seek God for answers in your life, He is faithful to direct your path as you trust Him. Trusting Him is the key to unlocking doors for divine direction. But you have to speak the word to activate your faith and do what it says. Proverbs 3:5-8 instructs us to, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn your back on evil. Then you will gain renewed health and vitality.” A lot of people neglect verses 7 and 8. But it’s pretty vital to receiving what you need.

As you remain faithful to your commitments, relationships, responsibilities, and most importantly to God, you will experience God’s amazing strength, peace, grace, and favor! There is no way that I could do all that I do without trusting Him and receiving all of the above. And every now and then we’ve got to ask God for a refreshing. Have you ever been there before? Where you just need God to give you that second wind to win the race? Well, I’ve been there before. And when He does it, it just gives me that new vigor to press beyond myself in spite of the obstacles.

In this life, we have to know that God is going to complete the work that he has started in us, and that everything is working out for our good no matter what is happening around us. Philippians 1:6 assures us saying, “And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.” Believe it! Live like you believe it! And Romans 8:28 encourages, “And know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

There it is! God has a purpose for all that He is allowing to take place in your life. Nothing happens by chance…not even you reading this post today. God has you on his heart and mind and He wanted to encourage you with these words. I’m merely a vessel for His service. I pray that this has ministered to you. And as I close this post, I’ll leave you with this, “By God’s grace, remain faithful.” (Acts 14:22 NLT)

Remember, Jesus is coming back soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s get ready from the Inside Out!
