Under Pressure Pic

Have you ever had to face a task that you felt was so BIG that you felt overwhelmed just thinking about it? Are you there now? If so, I totally know what that feels like. Yet, I also know that unless you settle down and get busy on it, it simply won’t get done.

When I am asked to do something that I know is according to God’s will, I feel obligated to get it done! I wake up thinking about it. And I tend to say, “If it’s meant for me to do it, then I’m going to do it.” I want to do God’s will. But not only that, I don’t want to be replaced. Meaning, I don’t want someone else to do what God has called me to do.

Let’s not forget about David and King Saul in the Bible. Long story short, God had to raise up another king, because King Saul did not do what God told him to do. And as a result of his disobedience, God made David the next king over Israel (Read 1 Samuel 13 & 15). Ouch! Again, we don’t want to be replaced. So let’s get the job done. Amen!

Do what God has called you to do. When He assigns you a specific task, press to get it done sis! I’m facing a BIG task right now as I write this post. I call it my Red Sea experience. I know it is something that God is calling me to do. Yet, the task seems so big in my eyes…like a Giant.

However, regardless to what it looks like, I know that I can attack it with GOD. I definitely cannot do this alone. I need Him every step of the way. I need Him to help me through to the other side. And I’m counting on the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to help me to attack this task.

I have a little word art card that ministers to me every morning in this season that reads, “Nothing ahead of you is bigger or stronger than the power behind you.” And the Scripture that goes with it says, “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.” (Ephesians 6:10) This Scripture is so powerful and it breathes new life into me! It helps me to see that I can do this…God is with me. I just have to be courageous and attack it!

And so do you! It’s time to get ready to attack the task ahead of you. Know that nothing is too hard for God. He will help you. Just keep in mind that you cannot do it in your own strength. Don’t even try to accomplish it in your own ability. Instead, let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you through every step. God tells us in Zechariah 4:6 says, “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”

God is speaking here. I know that the task may seem HUGE in our eyes, but we just have to remember that He will help us. We are not alone. So let’s do it sis! Actually, let’s pray for one another that we get the job done! What task are you about to attack?

In the meantime…Remember Jesus is coming back soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s be ready from the Inside Out!
