Where are you today? Are you working on a project or dealing with a particular issue where you need to know exactly what to do? Are you in need of direction or clear answers? If so, then I believe what you need is wisdom.

The Lord has really been laying it upon my heart for some time now to write about “wisdom.” The reason being is because it’s so important to have it before we step out to do anything, really. It’s just that serious, sis. Did you know that God did not form the earth or anything else before wisdom? Proverbs 8:22 states, “The Lord formed me from the beginning, before he created anything else.” The “me” is wisdom.

Proverbs 3:19 also tells us, “By wisdom, the Lord founded the earth; by understanding he created the heavens.” Amazing revelation! So as His daughters, we need to learn from our heavenly Father. He did not move forth before wisdom. So with that being said, James 1:5-6 tells us, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone…” Trust that God will show you exactly what to do.

So matter where you are today sis, God is right there with you, willing and ready to give you insight. He sees all. And He knows all. In other words, He knows precisely what you need to do, so ask for wisdom. The term itself actually means the soundness of action or decision with regard to application of experience, knowledge,  and good judgment.

The book of Proverbs has great wisdom and instruction. In particular, I’d love to share with you a few verses specifically from Proverbs 8. Check them out and I pray that God’s wisdom here speaks to you in ways that help give you insight on what to do next. Here goes…

Proverbs 8:1, “Listen as Wisdom calls out! Hear as understanding raises her voice.”

Proverbs 8:12, “I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment. I know where to discover knowledge and discernment.”

Proverbs 8:14, “Common sense and success belong to me. Insight and strength are mine.” (i.e. the ‘me’ is referring to wisdom)

Proverbs 8:16, “Rulers lead with my help, and nobles make righteous judgments.”

Proverbs 8:17, “I love all those who love me. Those who search for me will surely find me.” (search for wisdom)

Proverbs 8:32-33, “And so, my children, listen to me, for all who follow my ways are joyful. Listen to my instruction and be wise. Don’t ignore it.”

Powerful and yet, life-changing once applied. Pray for wisdom, my dear sister. And don’t move without it. Whatever it is that you’re dealing with or in need of, ask God what He would have you to do and then follow His Word, godly advice, and instruction; and then go forth in faith as James 1:5 talks about. Success will come from trusting in His wisdom, before you make a move. #seekwisdom

Remember, Jesus is coming back soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s be ready from the Inside Out!
