So many people are waiting on the Lord in our world. Some are waiting for the pain to stop from the loss of a friend or loved one. Some are waiting for someone that they care about dearly to come out of the hospital, healed. Some are waiting for their adult children to be saved or make wiser choices in life or for patience and strength as they raise small children or teenagers.

There are many who are waiting on financial breakthrough, marital challenges to cease, healing from a divorce or separation, healing in their bodies, big decisions that need to be made, and so much more. Truth is, we’re all typically waiting on the Lord for something.

Where are you? What are you waiting on the Lord for today? Are you waiting on God to move on your behalf or on the behalf of someone that you’ve been praying for? Do you believe that He’ll come through one way or another? Do you believe that He loves you and those whom you love and care about? Because He does.

Currently, as I write this post, we are in the middle of a global pandemic - the coronavirus. There are questions about when to open the economy again, when the churches are going to be able to get back to regular service, will there be a mandatory vaccine and so much more happening around it. This takes waiting.

No doubt, waiting on the Lord is far from easy. But we also have to remember that Jesus never promised us that we would live our Christian lives without pain, sickness, hardships, loss, grief, persecution, injustice, or trouble. Instead He forewarned us in John 16:33 “…Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” This means that in the end, we win! In the end, we are overcomers! In the end, we are victorious!

So until we get the answers that we're waiting for, let's continue to pray and praise the Lord. Let's believe that God is a good, good Father and cares about all that concerns us. Let's continue to trust Him. And let's continue to do what He’s called us to do with the supernatural strength, wisdom, protection, and provision that He provides.

I'll close with this. Isaiah 41:10 encourages, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” He's got you.  So keep waiting with hope and expectancy, sis. Know that God is in control and He's working things out for the good (see Romans 8:28).

Remember, Jesus is coming back soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s be ready from the Inside Out!
