Believing God 2

Today, I feel led to encourage you to believe what God has said to you. Take Him at His word…literally. If the Lord has given you a word or you keep seeing the same Scripture everywhere you go, believe it. I believe God is trying to tell you something. If you see it over and over again, believe it and know that He is with you. This is what I call, an echo.

I just recently went to a women’s conference where Priscilla Shirer was the keynote speaker. She was absolutely AWESOME! I love her because she speaks the truth. And she breaks it down so clearly. I also love her boldness! Amen! But the thing that I want to share with you in particular is something she shared with us (women) at this conference. She said, “Stand on God’s promises. And write those promises down where you can see it!”

Meaning surround yourself with that Scripture, quote, statement, or word that God gave you and every time you see it, speak it and BELIEVE IT! This is not magic or religion. It’s faith! And when you speak what God has given you, it breathes life into you and brings renewed strength and hope for the continued journey.

Okay…now I’ll give you my real life example. For the past several months, God has been giving me this verse, “But with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) The NLT says it this way, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” I mean I have been seeing this verse in so many places, and it’s been such an encouragement to me every time I see it.

So guess what? I have now purposely placed that verse around me. It’s in my car, in my home office, on my bathroom wall…and after this conference, I went out to Family Christian Bookstore (my favorite store that I can literally spend hours in) and bought some Scripture cards with that very verse written on it. I’m not playing!

I am believing God!

I am believing that God can do the impossible. Why? Because nothing is impossible with Him and nothing is too hard for Him. This is where my faith and my hope lies. Another Scripture that comes to mind that helps me to keep believing what God has said is, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7) Meaning I might not be able to see it yet, but I’m still believing it by faith! And another one is Hebrews 11:1, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

I have hope that one day that impossible thing will come to pass. And when it happens, I’ll be able to say, “NOBODY BUT GOD! To GOD be ALL the glory!” That’s why I’m holding firm to what God keeps saying, while also reminding myself through His word and through continual echoes, that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us! That verse is found in Ephesians 3:20. Some of you know that verse I’m referring to, because that’s the one God has been giving you.

So, with that being said, it’s your turn. What has God been saying to you? And my next question is, do you believe it? Remember, without faith it is impossible to please him (Hebrews 11:6). So if you have truly received a word from the Lord…believe it. Type it up, write it up, buy it up, whatever you do, surround yourself with it and believe it. Take God at His word. And no matter what happens, don’t stop believing what God has said to you. Walk in faith and get ready to say, “NOBODY BUT GOD! To GOD be ALL the glory!” Love you sis!

Remember, Jesus is coming back soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s be ready from the Inside Out!
